“As I reflect on another year of HOLLA and HOLLA School, I am reminded of why and how our impact happens day after day, month after month and year after year. There are a myriad of reasons, but most importantly, it’s because Black, Brown and Indigenous communities are resilient and resourceful, always utilizing the means within themselves to survive and thrive. HOLLA recently has brought on a full-time Match Coordinator while HOLLA School has hired a full-time Literacy Coordinator. These strategic hires are tremendous milestones for both organizations as we move forward into 2024.   

Now, I want to call your attention to HOLLA and HOLLA School’s upcoming Dream With Us Gala May 4th, 6:30pm at Coopers Hall. The theme of the gala is “Dream Deeper.”  Dream Deeper expresses the values of HOLLA and HOLLA School to go deeper relationally with our Black, Brown and Indigenous youth through culturally-specific mentorship and education that centers their lived experience, catalyzes their joy and co-creates a world of infinite possibilities. It’s partners like yourself that consistently support organizations like ours, allowing us to participate in our community authentically and transformationally, and we can't wait to share stories of our work with you at Dream With Us!”
